\nNIH maintains a list of journals by submission method. If yours is listed as automatic, PMC deposit happens without any action from you.<\/li>\n
\nSome journals will submit to PMC on your behalf only if your manuscript acknowledges NIH grant support \u2014 another reason the acknowledgment text above matters.<\/li>\n
\nYou're responsible for making sure the paper reaches PMC, whatever your journal's process. Don't assume it happened \u2014 check.<\/li>\n
