Meet some of the members of the Geisel School of Medicine\u2019s Class of 2021\u2014KC Collier, Tianrae Chu, and Allie Morgan\u2014as they share their stories about what brought them to the Dartmouth community and why they wanted to pursue a career in medicine.<\/p>\n

\n<\/iframe><\/span><\/body><\/html><\/p>\nEven though Dartmouth has a great reputation for its MD program, says first-year medical student KC Collier, it was the sense of camaraderie she felt during her visits that made her want to join the Geisel community. \u201cOn the \u2018Are these my people test?\u2019 this got an A+ for me,\u201d says Collier, who looks forward to applying her interests in languages, social justice, and science to her career as a physician.<\/p>\nKC grew up in Hershey, PA, and is a graduate of Bates College and the University of Vermont.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n<!DOCTYPE html PUBLIC \"-\/\/W3C\/\/DTD HTML 4.0 Transitional\/\/EN\" \"http:\/\/www.w3.org\/TR\/REC-html40\/loose.dtd\"> \n<html><body><iframe loading=\"lazy\" class=\"youtube-player\" width=\"740\" height=\"417\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/KWrL8j-84LA?version=3&rel=1&showsearch=0&showinfo=1&iv_load_policy=1&fs=1&hl=en-US&autohide=2&wmode=transparent\" allowfullscreen=\"true\" style=\"border:0;\" sandbox=\"allow-scripts allow-same-origin allow-popups allow-presentation allow-popups-to-escape-sandbox\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\"><\/iframe><\/span><\/body><\/html><\/p>\nGeisel\u2019s welcoming and supportive community were key factors in first-year medical student Tianrae Chu\u2019s decision to come to Dartmouth. \u201cI knew that Geisel was the type of community I would thrive in,\u201d says Chu.
