A great way to celebrate Martin Luther King Jr. Day is to share his boldness to <\/span><a id=\"OWAb575892b-17a2-3133-0702-a212635b3f20\" class=\"x_OWAAutoLink x_ContentPasted0\" title=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/we-need-mlks-courage-end-hunger-opinion-1669177\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/we-need-mlks-courage-end-hunger-opinion-1669177\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\" data-linkindex=\"0\" data-ogsc=\"blue\" data-loopstyle=\"linkonly\">end hunger<\/a><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_x_xxxxmsonormal\" data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\" data-ogsb=\"rgb(255, 255, 255)\"><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">Taking place each year on the third Monday in January, the Martin Luther King, Jr., Day of Service (<span class=\"x_mark39m3efzmj x_ContentPasted0\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"black\" data-ogsb=\"rgb(255, 241, 0)\">MLK<\/span>\u00a0Day) is the only federal holiday that is also designated by Congress as a National Day of Service \u2013\u00a0<b>\u201cA Day ON not A Day OFF.\u201d<\/b><span data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 112, 192)\">\u00a0<\/span>In honor of\u00a0<span class=\"x_mark39m3efzmj x_ContentPasted0\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"black\" data-ogsb=\"rgb(255, 241, 0)\">MLK<\/span>\u00a0Day and Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.\u2019s legacy of justice and anti-poverty work, we will be inviting our Geisel\/Dartmouth Health community members to help address food insecurity in our local communities (New Hampshire and Vermont).<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_x_xxxxmsonormal\" data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\" data-ogsb=\"rgb(255, 255, 255)\"><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">Join the Office of Diversity, Inclusion, and Community Engagement (DICE) on\u00a0<b class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">Monday,<\/b>\u00a0<b class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">January 15, 2024,<\/b>\u00a0<b class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">11:00am \u2013 1:00pm<\/b>\u00a0at DH Auditorium E&amp;F in celebrating the legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. with a campus awards luncheon and featured keynote by\u00a0<b class=\"x_ContentPasted0\">Barbara Ross-Lee, DO, FACOFP,<\/b> the first Black woman medical school dean and now the inaugural President of Maryland College of Osteopathic Medicine at Morgan State University. She is also the sister of acclaimed singer Diana Ross.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"x_x_xxxxmsonormal\" data-ogsc=\"rgb(0, 0, 0)\" data-ogsb=\"rgb(255, 255, 255)\"><span class=\"x_ContentPasted0\"
