The Geisel School of Medicine ushered in a new academic year by welcoming 92 new medical students to campus this week for orientation. The Class of 2022 brings with it diverse backgrounds and experiences, as well as a record of academic achievement and service around the world.

Geisel Announces New Master of Science Degree in Quantitative Epidemiology
Geisel’s Quantitative Biomedical Sciences Graduate Program is offering a new Master of Science in Epidemiology degree that will train students in bioinformatics, biostatistics, and epidemiology.
Curricular Evolution: Geisel School of Medicine Embarks on a New Integrated Curriculum
Geisel’s recently approved integrated curriculum creates a cohesive pedagogical approach throughout all four years, building on the medical school’s strong foundation in biomedical sciences and clinical competence. It also creates expanded clinical opportunities in the fourth year.
Dartmouth Institute Class Day Highlights
On June 8, The Dartmouth Institute celebrated 84 MPH, MS, and PhD graduates during its Class Day ceremony, at which students were hooded and awarded their diplomas. This newly minted group of Dartmouth alumni also includes the Institute’s first online MPH class of 28 students. Read more…

At the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth’s annual Class Day ceremony on June 2, faculty, staff, students, and families celebrated the accomplishments of 77 new graduates of the school’s MD program.
New Members Inducted into Geisel Academy of Master Educators
Four new faculty were inducted into to the Geisel Academy of Master Educators and another honored with a lifetime achievement award. Internal Medicine Clerkship Director, Hilary Ryder, MD, MS, FACP received an Association of American Medical Colleges (AAMC) Excellence in Medical Education award for her research, “Understanding what we say: varying cultural competency amongst faculty evaluators on the internal medicine clerkship.”
