Geisel's 2019 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration will be held January 18 - 19 in the Class of '78 Life Sciences Center's Oopik Auditorium. This year's theme is "Honoring a Survivor’s Narrative: Our Role In Empowering Victims Of Sexual Violence" and will feature a screening of the documentary "I Am Evidence" and keynote speaker Alicia Ely Yamin, JD, MPH, Senior Scholar in Residence, Global Health Education and Learning Incubator, Harvard University and Adjunct Lecturer on Global Health and Population, Harvard TH Chan School of Public Health.
