Save the Date: Physicians for Human Rights National Student Conference

Save the Date!
What: Physicians for Human Rights National Student Conference
When: Friday November 4th (evening) and Saturday November 5th (8:00AM to 5:00PM)
Where: Class of 1978 Life Sciences Center, Dartmouth College

The theme for this year's National Conference is Violence against Difference, specifically looking at racial violence, gender violence, and violence against healthcare workers. We believe it is crucial to learn more about the underlying causes behind these forms of violence. The topics will be examined through the lens of structural violence, and we will examine how constructs of difference have fueled many recent human rights violations. We will hope to increase our understanding for not only why these violent acts occur but also how to prevent them in the future.

Learn directly from pioneers in the field of health and human rights, present your research, and acquire the knowledge, tools, and resources to become a human rights-trained leader in medicine!

Registration is now open (Early Registration fee until October 15th):
