Former DMS Dean
Robert W. McCollum, 1925-2010

Lebanon, N.H.—The family of Robert W. McCollum, M.D., former dean of Dartmouth Medical School (DMS), is inviting his friends and medical colleagues to a celebration of his life on Saturday, October 16.

The memorial gathering will start at 10 a.m. in the Occom Commons community space at Goldstein Hall, in Dartmouth College’s McLaughlin Residential Cluster at Maynard and College streets in Hanover. Refreshments will be served afterward in nearby tents.

Dr. McCollum died at his home in Etna, N.H., on September 13, 2010, after struggling against a complex illness. He was the husband of Audrey McCollum and the father of Cindy McCollum and Doug McCollum. He is also survived by two grandsons, Justin McCollum and Zach McCollum; a son-in-law, John Spellman; and a daughter-in-law, Karen McCollum.

Memorial donations may be made to the Dean Robert W. McCollum Scholarship Fund, c/o Dartmouth Medical School, Office of Development, 1 Medical Center Drive, Lebanon, N.H. 03756.
