John Wennberg Leaves Leadership Position at Dartmouth's Center for the Evaluative Clinical Sciences; James Weinstein Named Successor

HANOVER, NH—Dr. John E. Wennberg, known for his pioneering work in evaluating medical practice, has stepped down as director of the Center for the Evaluative Clinical Sciences (CECS) at Dartmouth, which he founded in 1988. Dr. James N. Weinstein, professor and chair of Orthopaedics at Dartmouth Medical School and Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center, and professor of community and family medicine, has been named his successor.
