Brock Christensen<\/a> has been named the new Associate Director for Strategic Initiatives at the Dartmouth Cancer Center. Brock is a Professor of Epidemiology, Community & Family Medicine, and Molecular & Systems Biology. \u00a0He holds a PhD from Harvard University. This new leadership role will benefit from Brock\u2019s broad leadership experience at both the Cancer Center and the Geisel School of Medicine. Brock has many years of service chairing the Geisel Faculty Council and has also served as interim Chair of the Department of Epidemiology.\u00a0 Under his leadership, the Cancer Population Sciences Program has grown tremendously over the past 5 years, adding 19 new members and a 55% increase in extramural grant funding.
