Meet the New Lab Staff!

In 2024 our lab has welcomed new staff members! If you contact the Media and Health Behaviors Lab in any capacity, you will likely meet one of the below people! Learn more about them below:

Caroline Borowy
Research Assistant
Caroline received her BS in Biology from the University of British Columbia and more recently an MS in Health Education & Promotion from Maastricht University in the Netherlands. For her master's thesis, she researched sedentary behaviors of university students in relation to their respective time in campus environments. Caroline grew up in the Upper Valley and has previously worked in the community as a personal trainer. Outside of academia she enjoys hiking, traveling, sewing, preparing new recipes and spending time with her dog.

Elizabeth Shelto
Research Assistant
Elizabeth received her Bachelor's degree in Neuroscience from Wheaton College, MA. She has prior research experience in Wheaton's Visual Perception Lab, where she studied the ability to overcome visual suppression during saccadic eye movements. In her free time, Elizabeth enjoys board games, hiking, writing, and digital fabrication.

 

 

 

Mingliang (Allen) Ge
Data Analyst
Mingliang joined the Department of Biomedical Data Science at Dartmouth as a Research Data Analyst. He holds a BS in Statistical Science & Applied Mathematics from Southern Methodist University and an MS in Quantitative Biomedical Sciences from Dartmouth College, with a focus on health data sciences. His research interests center around analyzing behavioral patterns and dietary habits, particularly through advanced data mining, data processing, and building predictive models to explore complex relationships within health-related datasets. Outside of work, Mingliang enjoys playing tennis and practicing meditation. He has a broad range of interests and is always eager to try new experiences.
