Cheryl Elinsky, PA is taking on a secondary appointment with the Department of Medical Education as an Anatomy Lab Educator. Cheryl has practiced as a Physician Assistant (PA) in the Department of Medicine at DHMC since becoming a PA in 2006. Prior to this, she practiced as a Physical Therapist for 15 years. In addition to her full-time clinical positions, she has had extensive teaching experiences. She taught anatomy and biomechanics to Physical Therapists and Occupational Therapists at Springfield College, Springfield, MA from 1994 – 2001. She then taught anatomy and clinical medicine to PA students at Franklin Pierce University from 2009 – 2020. For the past 4 years, Cheryl has mentored new Advanced Practice Providers: PAs and APRNs (APPs) at DHMC. She created and is the facilitator of a regularly scheduled series for APPs, Topics in Medicine. Cheryl attended the Principals of Medical Education conference at the Harvard Macy Institute in 2018.
