Abraham J. Matar, M.D.<\/span><\/b>

\nDartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Matar received his B.S. from Emory University and his M.D. from the University of Central Florida. He first developed an interest in transplantation while working as a predoctoral researcher at the Transplantation Biology Research Center at Massachusetts General Hospital.\u202fHe went on to complete his general surgery residency at Emory University, where he also completed a research fellowship in transplantation immunology at the Emory Transplant Center. Dr. Matar completed his multi-organ abdominal transplant surgery fellowship at the University of Minnesota, after which he joined the Dartmouth faculty in 2025 as an Assistant Professor.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Dr. Crepeau earned her BS at Syracuse University, followed by her PhD in Microbiology and Immunology at Dartmouth, where she studied the role of microRNA during viral reactivation. She subsequently completed a postdoctoral fellowship at the Emory Transplant Center investigating the impact of immunosuppressive regimens on EBV-specific immunity. She now leads the basic science arm of the transplant research program, with a particular interest in novel immunosuppressive pathways.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
