My experiences as an undergraduate led me to stay in Rochester to work as a lab technician. My work focused on designing novel cytokine-based cancer immunotherapies. I joined the Huang lab in the Spring of 2021. My thesis project focuses on engineering armored CAR T and NK cells for clinical use and better understanding how this therapy combats immunosuppression in the solid tumor microenvironment. Outside of lab, I enjoy running, hiking, and baking.

Publications

Ferry SL, Abdullah L, Balasubramanian A, Nowak E, Carl A, Turnquist A, Mohamed AO, Usherwood EJ, Sundrud M, Huang YH.
