Her current work focuses on translating an intravesical immunotherapy to treat bladder cancer into the clinic as part of the lab\u2019s partnership with Dr. Rodwell Mabaera at the Dartmouth Cancer Center. Before joining Dr. Huang\u2019s lab, Maeve earned her bachelor's degree from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut, and worked for four years in the biotechnology industry in Boston. At Generate Biomedicines, she constructed and screened synthetic antibody libraries as part of\u00a0the company\u2019s platform in generating computationally designed therapeutic proteins. She then joined Strand Therapeutics, where she worked as a Senior Associate Scientist. In this role she helped to design and construct synthetic circuits embedded in mRNA molecules to enable the precise delivery of therapeutic cargo to tumor cells as part of Strand\u2019s precision RNA platform.
