Professional Interests
I'm passionate about spreading primary palliative symptom management and end-of-life care skills to a wider range of health care clinicians and disciplines, including through my work on the Opioid Stewardship Committee and as a member of Dartmouth's Project ECHO Palliative core faculty. As the current Director of Inpatient Services for the Section of Palliative Medicine, I am focused on helping the inpatient branch of my team better serve our patients and consulting colleagues; this work includes projects focused on the care of patients with comfort-focused medical plans in the main hospital and ICU patients meeting trigger criteria for palliative care discussion. Additional section memberships include the Palliative Bereavement Steering Committee.
