Professional Interests
Dr. Loehrer is a surgical oncologist who treats patients with cancer of the skin and soft-tissue, breast, and gastrointestinal track. Loehrer is also a health services researcher with a focus on marginalized and oppressed populations, including evaluation of state and federal health policy, racial and socioeconomic inequity in health and health care, and care delivery for diverse populations. As a clinician and researcher, Dr. Loehrer commits to fostering an equitable, just, and inclusive healing and learning environment for patients, collaborators, and learners.
