I was born in Nairobi, Kenya, and grew up in Mableton, GA. Currently, I'm a fourth-year medical student at Geisel. I completed my undergraduate degree at Cornell University and a master's degree in public health at George Washington University. Between undergrad and medical school, I was in the Peace Corps in Togo and completed a Global Health Corps Fellowship in Zambia. Hobbies include reading sci-fi/fantasy and historical fiction, as well as non-fiction novels exploring themes in social justice. Additionally, I enjoy trying new recipes, running, hiking, and I'm currently learning how to sew clothing.
