Born and raised in Arizona, I graduated from Santa Clara University in 2019 with a Bachelor's of Science in Psychology, minoring in Political Science. During my undergraduate career, I engaged in diverse activities including but not limited to psychology research at Stanford, nonprofit management in the California Bay Area, an internship at Apple Inc. and more. After graduating, I worked in quality and process improvement at Stanford Children’s Hospital, where I decided to pursue a career in medicine. I attended a career-changer post-baccalaureate program at Goucher College in 2020 and began my medical degree at Geisel School of Medicine in 2022. My research experience includes social and educational psychology research assessing group emotional contagion, the utilization of transitional justice mechanisms in post-conflict situations, and prostate cancer clinical research. As part of the Department of Epidemiology, I am working on reviewing perinatal charts with the NH Birth Cohort Study, which aligned with my interest in pursuing a career in pediatrics in the future.
