Brock Christensen has been named the new Associate Director for Strategic Initiatives at the Dartmouth Cancer Center. Brock is a Professor of Epidemiology, Community & Family Medicine, and Molecular & Systems Biology. He holds a PhD from Harvard University. This new leadership role will benefit from Brock’s broad leadership experience at both the Cancer Center and the Geisel School of Medicine. Brock has many years of service chairing the Geisel Faculty Council and has also served as interim Chair of the Department of Epidemiology. Under his leadership, the Cancer Population Sciences Program has grown tremendously over the past 5 years, adding 19 new members and a 55% increase in extramural grant funding.
