Race tube medium: (0 % glucose, 0.17 % arginine, 1X Vogel's, 50 ug\/L biotin, 1.5 % agar, 42 uM luciferin). Colors represent intensity, white to red being brightest and blues dimmest. Images were taken every 30 min. Time is in units of d:h:m. Note the agar surface traversing approximately through the center of the images.
