and Expectations for CSL Partnerships"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>For Students:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Respect and follow service site\u2019s policies and regulations<\/li>\n<li>Follow HIPAA standards<\/li>\n<li>Partner with community members to innovate solutions to community-identified needs<\/li>\n<li>Share project results with community partners<\/li>\n<li>Engage in reflection with mentors and peers<\/li>\n<li>Take initiative in the learning process through problem-solving and ethical decision-making<\/li>\n<li>Adhere to Geisel School of Medicine rules (media, government relations, travel, fundraising, etc.)<\/li>\n<li>No students should provide clinical services without qualified preceptor supervision<\/li>\n<li>Attend the Annual CSL Symposium<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong><br \/>\nFor Faculty Mentors:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist student in working with community partners<\/li>\n<li>Be oriented with the community partner organization, its clients and policies<\/li>\n<li>Meet regularly with student to discuss progress in the project and provide feedback<\/li>\n<li>Engage in reflection to help students integrate their service with academic and professional learning<\/li>\n<li>Guide student for the Annual CSL Symposium<\/li>\n<li>Provide additional resources and scholarship opportunities for students, such as journal submission and conferences<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>For Community Partner:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Communicate the organization\u2019s needs to student, faculty mentor, and CSL Program<\/li>\n<li>Provide students with an opportunity to collaborate and innovate with community partners and subsequently engage in meaningful service at the project site<\/li>\n<li>Post and update project opportunities in Engaged<\/li>\n<li>Establish a CSL Site Affiliation Agreement with the Geisel School of Medicine<\/li>\n<li>Orient students to the organization\u2019s mission, vision, and strategic goals to ensure understanding of student roles<\/li>\n<li>Communicate policies and procedures<\/li>\n<li>Provide ongoing feedback, and engage in process improvement with students and mentors<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p><strong>For Community Service Learning Program Office:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Maintain Engaged site for service project opportunities, mentors, community partners, and students<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a liaison between community partners, students, and mentors in making connections for CSL opportunities<\/li>\n<li>Maintain a CSL Site Affiliation Agreement defining the roles of the Geisel School of Medicine and community organizations as they relate to CSL<\/li>\n<li>Plan and host the Annual CSL Symposium<\/li>\n<li>Answer questions,
