We will be screening the documentary <em>Paris is Burning<\/em> that highlights and chronicles the ball culture of New York City and the African-American, Latino, gay, and transgender communities involved in it during the early-to-late 1980\u2019s. There will also be a discussion afterwards led by SNMA, LMSA and qMD leaders. This session will be led by Adina Harri (MS2) who will be showcasing Black excellence in poetry.<\/p>\n<h4>Saturday, February 12, 2022 - Black Student Wellness Night<br \/>\n<em>6:30 pm EST<\/em><\/h4>\n<p>The Wellness Night will be an opportunity for Black medical students in all phases of training to get together, unwind, and connect. This fun and relaxing event will include a guided meditation and facilitated conversations on wellness and preventing burnout while participants paint.
