Our department offers a broad range of dermatology specialty care unique to New England and opportunities for medical students to rotate through and take part in research in these subspecialty clinics to improve their knowledge and improve patient care.

Contact Dermatitis

Our contact dermatitis clinic determines whether contact allergies cause skin eruptions. This clinic can play an important role in the evaluation and management of contact dermatitis from a variety of allergens such as metals, fragrances, preservatives, etc.
This clinic is led by Dr. Johnathan Glass.

Cosmetic Dermatology

Our cosmetic dermatology clinic employs a wide array of techniques and procedures to improve the skin barrier, decrease signs of aging and restore a youthful glow to the skin and is led by Dr. Lucas and Dr. Chapman.

Cutaneous Lymphoma

Our Cutaneous Lymphoma specialty clinic treats patients with cutaneous lymphomas, utilizing a team of dermatologists, oncologists, and radiation oncologists that work together to create a comprehensive and personalized treatment plan for patients and treat a wide array of cutaneous lymphomas from Cutaneous T-Cell Lymphoma (CTCL) to Primary Cutaneous B Cell Lymphomas and is led by Dr. Carter, Dr. Zug, and Dr. Lansigan.

Dermatology-Rheumatology Clinic

Our Dermatology-Rheumatology Clinic provides care for patients with autoimmune skin and joint disease. The clinic treats a wide array of complex skin conditions such as Dermatomyositis, Lupus, and Scleroderma and is led by Dr. Barton and Dr. Brown.

Hair Disorders and Hair Loss

Our Hair Disorders and Hair Loss Clinic, led by Dr. Pace, aims to treat these hair conditions to decrease the progression of hair loss and prevent further scarring. Treating conditions such as Alopecia Areata, Pattern Hair loss, and Lichen Planopilaris

High-Risk Skin Cancer

Our High-Risk Skin Cancer Specialty clinic is geared at treating patients at high risk of developing skin cancer such as transplant patients, patients with leukemia or lymphoma, and patients on immunosuppressive agents to decrease the number of skin cancers and severity of disease

Hidradenitis Suppurativa Clinic

The Hidradenitis Suppurativa (HS) Clinic treats patients suffering from HS, an inflammatory skin disorder that affects hair follicles that can lead to extensive scarring and impact quality of life. The clinic is led by Dr. Natalie Fragrosa

Immunobullous Disease Clinic

Acquired, or autoimmune, blistering skin conditions are diseases where there is a breakdown of connections between the epidermis and dermis on the skin that results in widespread blistering and ulcerations of the skin such as Bullous Pemphigoid, Pemphigus Vulgaris, and Pemphigus Foliaceous. The Immunobullous Disease Clinic is led by Dr. Brian Simmons.

Pediatric Dermatology

Dartmouth-Hitchcock has 3 board-certified Pediatric Dermatologists. Dr. Mann, Dr. Pace, and Dr. Rork provide treatment for pediatric skin conditions such as acne, infantile hemangiomas and other vascular birthmarks, psoriasis, atopic dermatitis, and genetic skin conditions.

Psychocutaneous Medicine

Our Psychocutaneous Medicine clinic aims to provide skin directed treatments to improve wound healing and treat associated symptoms with conditions such as neurotic excoriations and delusions of parasitosis

Mohs Surgery

Our Mohs Surgery specialty clinic treats common and rare skin cancers via Mohs surgery that combines precise tumor removal and real-time examination under a microscope to provide high cure rates with a low risk of reoccurrence.

Vulvar Dermatoses Clinic

Our vulvar dermatoses clinic specializes in the care of skin disorders of the vulva. Vulvar dermatoses are skin disorders that affect the vulva that can lead to itching, burning, or discomfort.
