Dr. Susan Lynch is a Pediatric Lipid Specialist working at CHaD Lipid and Weight Management Center in Manchester, NH. As New Hampshire's First Lady, she advocated for children and works to promote healthy eating and fitness for NH Families to help counter the problem of childhood obesity. She has also worked to promote NH arts and artists.
Susan is also active in her community serving on the Northeast Cholesterol Foundation, the St. Paul's School Advance Studies Program Advisory Board, and the Friends of Bridges House Board among others.
She has been recognized by the NH Pediatric Society as Public Citizen of the Year, by the NH School Administrators Association, receiving the Champion for Children Award, the Riverbend Community Mental Health, Inc., with the Rainbow Award and the NH Women's Lobby with the Women in Leadership Award.
Susan grew up in Saugus, MA, graduating from Mount Holyoke College in 1976 and the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1986. She completed a pediatric internship at Tufts New England Medical Center's Floating Hospital and her pediatric residency at Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center. She completed her lipid training at Johns Hopkins University and through the National Lipid Association. In addition, Susan holds Honorary Doctor of Science Degrees from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences and Keene State College.
