Jeremiah Brown, PhD<\/h3>\n
Director, DCIS Jeremiah Brown, PhD is a Professor with Tenure of Epidemiology and holds joint appointments in the Department of Biomedical Data Science and The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical Practice. Dr. Brown has extensive expertise in implementation science and an established network of research colleagues across Dartmouth and the nation. Dr. Brown recently completed a two-year term as Chair of the NIH study section Science of Implementation in Health and Healthcare (SIHH).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div> Co-Director, Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science Sarah Lord, PhD, is a clinical developmental psychologist and health services and implementation science researcher with over 20 years of experience conducting research focused on development, evaluation, and implementation of digital assessment, treatment and care management tools targeting substance use and mental health across a range of populations. Dr. Lord is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry, Pediatrics and Biomedical Data Sciences at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth and Director of the Dissemination and Implementation Core at the Dartmouth Center for Technology and Behavioral Health (CTBH).<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div> Co-Director, Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science Dr. Aschbrenner's work is dedicated to bridging the gap between research and real world impact. She has over 15 years of experience developing, testing and implementing evidence-based interventions in a range of healthcare settings. Within the field of implementation science, her research focuses on adaptation, sustainability and sustainment of evidence-based interventions, practices, and innovations in healthcare. \u00a0Dr. Aschbrenner is an Associate Professor of Psychiatry at the Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth College and Principal Scientist in the Dartmouth Health System<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div> Director of Research and Programs, Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science Julia Shaw, MPH has over fifteen years of experience in health care research, project management, quality improvement, policy, advocacy, and implementation. Julia's areas of experience include HIV and hepatitis C prevention and treatment, substance use disorder treatment best practices, and health care access and affordability. She has completed post-graduate certificate programs in Data Visualization and Program Evaluation.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div> Director, MS in Implementation Science Gayle Cohen, MEd<\/span><\/span> is the Director of the MS-IS program at Dartmouth. <\/span><\/span>She has an extensive background in academic program management and student support with undergraduate, graduate, and medical students. Gayle <\/span>previously<\/span> served as the Director of<\/span> the MS in Business Data Science and Analytics for the Broad College of Business at <\/span>Michigan<\/span> State <\/span>University<\/span>. She has conducted research and given presentations on Advisors as Teachers, Generational Cohort Theory, and <\/span>adult\/professional learners. <\/span>Gayle's goal is to ensure the success of all learners in the program, making sure each student feels represented and supported to meet their personal and academic <\/span>objectives<\/span> while enrolled in the program.<\/span><\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div> Research Scientist, Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science Dr. Gloria Guevara Alvarez comes to the Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science with extensive experience working in public health, clinical settings, and across the translational research spectrum.\u00a0 Her previous research has focused on the role of diet and nutrition in disease prevention with a focus on vulnerable populations in low- and middle-income countries (LMICs). Her work has helped to establish a systematic approach to adaptation based on the CFIR framework and other implementation science methodologies to adapt interventions to resource-constrained settings and to maximize health resources for future use, particularly with interventions targeting heath and nutrition in LMICs and among vulnerable populations.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div> Research Project Manager, Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science Laura Pickrell, MPH, comes to the Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science with ten years of experience in clinical and basic science research and project management in a combination of academic and biotechnology industry settings. She brings skills in data collection, quantitative analysis, program design and evaluation, and policy analysis, along with the ability to communicate scientific and research findings to technical and non-technical audiences.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div> The Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science is a research center at Dartmouth College in Hanover, New Hampshire, focused on advancing the science and practice of implementation. The center brings together a diverse group of researchers, practitioners, and community partners to develop and test innovative approaches for implementing evidence-based practices and improving health outcomes. The center\u2019s research focuses on understanding the factors that influence implementation success, developing and testing implementation strategies, and promoting the use of implementation science in real-world settings.<\/p>\n The center also has a strong focus on implementation science training and education, and will offer a range of courses and resources for researchers, practitioners, and trainees interested in learning about implementation science.<\/p>\n The Dartmouth Center for Implementation Science is committed to working collaboratively with partners across systems, including students, community members, patients, providers, policymakers, and industry. By bringing together diverse perspectives and expertise, the center aims to develop and test implementation strategies that are effective, feasible, and sustainable in real-world settings.
