Dr. Lisa V. Adams MED '90, Center for Health Equity Director, joined Dartmouth President Philip J. Hanlon \u201977 for a special alumni event at Harvard\u2019s Peabody Museum where she presented \u201cGlobal Partnerships: building\u00a0partnership in an era of\u00a0anti-globalism\u201d. Dr. Adams drew upon on her extensive experience in global health education and practice to discuss the current challenges and opportunities\u00a0associated\u00a0with\u00a0building global academic partnerships in today\u2019s world.\u00a0Also attending were the\u00a0other university presidents from the\u00a0Matariki Network, an international consortium of seven leading like-minded\u00a0universities, based in seven different countries around the world.<\/p>\n

Named\u00a0after the M\u0101ori word for the Pleiades 7-star cluster, the Matariki Network was formed\u00a0to create mutually beneficial linkages in the areas of research,\u00a0teaching, engagement, and administration.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
