In the summer of 2016, Global Health Scholar and second year medical student Kara Abarcar travelled to Chongqing, China\u00a0with Drs. Lisa V. Adams and Elizabeth Talbot to assist doctors and nurses at a a large pediatric hospital to improve the way they counsel their patients with TB. She conducted a seminar on the Teach-Back Method, incorporating the use of\u00a0scripts and culturally-appropriate patient education materials.
