Post-doctoral Scholar in Biomedical Data Science at Dartmouth (Bhattacharya Lab)

The research team of Dr. Indrani Bhattacharya in the Department of Biomedical Data Science and the Center for Precision Health and Artificial Intelligence (CPHAI) at Dartmouth College is seeking a motivated and creative postdoctoral scholar with strong computational background in image processing and machine learning. The individual who fills this position will have the opportunity to work with a multidisciplinary team of computer scientists, engineers, clinicians, biostatisticians, and trainees. Projects will focus on developing medical image analysis and multimodal machine learning algorithms to help clinicians in early disease detection, risk-stratification, treatment planning, and outcome prediction.

 

Required qualifications:

  1. Candidates must have a PhD in biomedical data science, computer science, electrical engineering, biomedical engineering, or a related Candidates must be proficient in machine learning, image processing, and computer vision, as evidenced by a track record of publications in top-tier peer-reviewed journals and international conference proceedings. Experience with medical images and medical data is a plus, but not necessary.
  2. Candidates must have prior experience in software development and programming in Python/C++.
  3. Candidates must have strong written and verbal communication skills.
