Membership types include <strong>Members<\/strong>, <strong>Associates<\/strong>, <strong>Fellows<\/strong>, <strong>Distinguished Educators<\/strong>, and <strong>Advisory Board Members<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>Participation ranges from novice educators, like residents and students, to senior-level educators. Members contribute to the academy by attending events, mentoring, and leading initiatives, while benefiting from mentorship, professional development, and networking opportunities across the Geisel and Dartmouth Health community.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>There are two approaches to applying for the \"Member\" or \"Associate Member\" levels:\n<ul>\n<li>Individuals log 4 activities, using this <a title=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__https:\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScEL_jlolg7U0OjftdZm1NEKNhlBrrx75acGVysJ0BtQXnA6w\/viewform__;!!Eh6P0A!RF8ql6qZQbEtw7zwWj7fE55gG5zXOj_QAwc4oMAuRrZjr_xCfsYxhDBOmDQNfUoHDKpreQYiNR5f_OhVw7dZJiAwJvonjRd49dwBcjzi$\" href=\"https:\/\/urldefense.com\/v3\/__https:\/docs.google.com\/forms\/d\/e\/1FAIpQLScEL_jlolg7U0OjftdZm1NEKNhlBrrx75acGVysJ0BtQXnA6w\/viewform__;!!Eh6P0A!RF8ql6qZQbEtw7zwWj7fE55gG5zXOj_QAwc4oMAuRrZjr_xCfsYxhDBOmDQNfUoHDKpreQYiNR5f_OhVw7dZJiAwJvonjRd49dwBcjzi$\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-auth=\"NotApplicable\"><span class=\"mark54atqprw8\" data-markjs=\"true\" data-ogac=\"\" data-ogab=\"\" data-ogsc=\"\" data-ogsb=\"\">form<\/span><\/a>, and then can apply to become a member by emailing their name, title, and chair\/supervisor contact info to\u00a0<a title=\"mailto:Geisel.Academy@dartmouth.edu\" href=\"mailto:Geisel.Academy@dartmouth.edu\">Geisel.Academy@dartmouth.edu<\/a> attesting that they logged their activities and noting they would like to be a member.<\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Alternatively, if an individual registers and logs their attendance to\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">the required number of<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0activities through the\u00a0<\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/dh.cloud-cme.com\/course\/search?p=4000\"><span data-contrast=\"none\">CMECloud<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u00a0system<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">,<\/span><\/a><span data-contrast=\"auto\">\u00a0then the Academy will email you proactively to invite you as a \u201c<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Member\u201d requesting the above information. <\/span><\/li>\n<li><span data-contrast=\"auto\">The following activities count towards membership:\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">Live in-person or virtual activities<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">enduring material (recordings of past events)<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">,\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">and activities\u00a0<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">sponsored or co-sponsored by the Aca<\/span><span data-contrast=\"auto\">demy.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>\u201cFellow\u201d level membership is achieved by invitation to participate as a teacher in an Academy sponsored or co-sponsored activity. Associates will be prioritized in receiving invitations to teach at the \u201cFellow\u201d level of membership, but the Academy Co-Directors and Advisory Board may invite teachers outside of the Academy community to the \u201cFellow\u201d level based on demonstrated expertise in teaching teachers.<\/li>\n<li>See below for details on requirements and how to self-nominate for the \u201cDistinguished Educator\u201d level of membership.<\/li>\n<li>The \u201cAdvisory Board\u201d level of membership is by invitation only by the Co-Directors of the Academy. The intent is to include as diverse and broad a representation as possible from across the Geisel and Dartmouth Health system.
