Memory Cafe

The Memory Cafe is a social group for persons with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia and their families. Each Cafe is run by a small staff and a number of undergraduate, medical student, and high school volunteers. We eat breakfast, have free-form and guided conversations, play games, and watch performance groups. It is a chance for people with cognitive loss to interact with peers and students in a relaxed and stigma-free environment. We meet from 10-noon once a month on Saturday mornings and are always looking for volunteers to hang out with the guests.
