Typing Notes and Making Annotations
Typing notes. If you just want a black screen for typing notes, you can use the pre-installed Notes app or Notability.
- Notes gives you a blank piece of lined paper.
- Notability gives you a blank screen in which you can type or draw.
Typing notes into PowerPoint or KeyNote. If you want to type notes into the Instructor's Notes section of a PowerPoint presentation, you can use the KeyNote app or DocsToGo app. If you want to type notes into a KeyNote presentation, you can use the KeyNote app.
Using Annotations and notes. If you would like to draw on presentations (pdf versions of PowerPoint) AND type notes in the same document, you can use GoodReader or iAnnotate. GoodReader can access a wider variety of servers and open a greater number of types of documents; iAnnotate is found by most people to be more intuitive for annotating documents.
