The Dartmouth Institute’s MPH Class of 2016 Includes Soldiers, Nature-Lovers and Nonprofit Leaders

Flying Black Hawks on medevac missions in Afghanistan, working to improve maternal-child health in Kosovo, and building better safety systems for electronic health records (EHR) — that’s what Jen Bales, Mrika Aliu and Salman Hussain were doing before they enrolled in The Dartmouth Institute’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program. Although the three members of the Class of 2016 have very different backgrounds, they all share a common interest in improving health care delivery and in using research to change how people experience health care on a broad-based level.
