A piece inspired by Mrs. Irene Weeks. Did I mention that I hate cats? I need to clarify my statement: I hate pet cats. I like tigers, lions, black panthers, etc. I have nothing against cat lovers. It is simply a personal bias and preference. Anyhow, I thoroughly enjoyed drawing the panther she wanted in her piece and trying to capture the sense of nobility and beauty she saw in cats. She is a strong family oriented woman who talked a lot about her loving husband. Thus, I tried to infuse the work with a little masculinity and strength that would typify her husband.
