Professional Interests
I am interested in understanding how genetic mutations can cause Parkinson's disease and other neurological disorders. I use molecular and cellular techniques to study the effect of genetic mutations causative of disease. In the clinic, I try to identify and characterize inherited neurological disorders and conduct clinical trials that attempt to translate molecular insights into novel therapies.
