Presentations

Over the course of participation in the faculty development grant program, community faculty benefit from a variety of presentations. During site visits, the presentations cover both clinical and pedagogical aspects of: a) clinical quality improvement, b) evidence-based medicine in clinical practice; and c) care of the complex patient. During Vtels conferences and the annual institutes, teaching methods and a variety of other topics are covered, including: genetics, HIV care, cultural competency, preventive medicine, geriatrics, substance abuse, depression and domestic violence.
