Dartmouth Summer Institute in Evidence-Based Psychiatry
Dartmouth is pleased to announce the first annual "Dartmouth Summer Institute in Evidence-Based Psychiatry" from August 16-19, 2006. This new course will utilize small group sessions with hands-on, case-based training. We'll investigate the state-of-the-art of diagnosis and treatment in the areas of child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric psychiatry. The focus of the Institute will be treatment of common psychiatric disorders - depression, alcoholism, dementia, anxiety, psychosis, and childhood disorders. Our goal is to introduce the evidence-based process in order that patients benefit from the most effective services.
