Drs. DiScipio and Liu chatted with the students about the similarities and differences in their specialities and how, as a married couple and parents of a young daughter, they live out the challenges of work and home. The advice to "not pick specialities out of fear, but out of passion and make it work for your life because you love it," resonated with the audience. Dr.DiScipio is the director of the Aortic Clinic at DHMC and is an Assistant Professor of Cardiothoracic Surgery. Dr. Liu is an Assistant Professor of Surgery, section of General Surgery at the VAMC.
