Here are the names of local newspapers and their on-line addresses:

The Valley News is our daily newspaper. It covers news, weather, and sports both nationally and local to the Upper Connecticut River Valley. They can be contacted at valley.news@pop.valley.net.

For more statewide coverage, there is also The Union Leader based in Manchester, New Hampshire.

Dartmouth College also has a student newspaper called The Dartmouth which can be accessed online. Also known as "The D," it is published every day during fall, winter and spring terms, and on Tuesdays and Fridays during summer term. It is an excellent representation of campus issues as well as local, regional and national news.

Television:

Cable television brings us the world. There are three semi-local channels on which one can find news pertinent to New Hampshire and Vermont. WNNE-TV Channel 31 is an NBC affilliate with an office in White River Junction, VT. WMUR-TV Channel 9 is our local ABC affiliate, with offices in Manchester, NH. WCAX-TV Channel 3 is the third station.
