34. At higher power, the prominent cell boundaries of the collecting ducts may be seen and contrasted with the more ill-defined distal tubule segments. Thin limbs of the loop of Henle are present, and are easily distinguished from the surrounding capillaries because of the blood engorging the latter. Again note the interstitial tissue separating the tubules.
